Advancements in Electronic Warfare and AI: Prominent Progress by Iran's Army

Iran's Army is making significant strides in modern combat sciences, leveraging robotics, artificial intelligence, and electronic warfare to achieve a formidable strategic advantage. This development was highlighted by Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, during an address at the main phase of military exercises conducted in western Iran.

Demonstrated Readiness and Security Enhancement

During the comprehensive drills, Iran's military demonstrated its advanced capabilities in electronic warfare, aimed at ensuring national security and comfort. Major exercises included appraisals of helicopter unit readiness and airborne operations by the 55th Airborne Brigade. These maneuvers provided insights into Iran's preparedness to neutralize enemy threats effectively.

Cutting-Edge Drone and AI Utilization

Key aspects of the exercise focused on integrating offensive and defensive drone flight operations. General Bagheri emphasized that the advent of AI and robotics has transformed modern warfare, necessitating the adoption of state-of-the-art technology. The Iranian Ground Forces utilized modern knowledge, successfully executing robotic operations with technology developed by their Research and Self-Sufficiency Organization.

Successful Drill Execution

The two-day drills, held along the western borders of Kermanshah province, concluded successfully, with Brigadier General Karim Cheshk confirming that all set objectives were met. The Army practiced comprehensive attacks on terrorist positions, supported heavily by aerial units, showcasing advanced coordination and execution capabilities.

Enhanced Helicopter Missile Range and Indigenous Production

Brigadier General Kiomars Heydari highlighted a significant increase in helicopter missile range, from 2 to 200 kilometers, demonstrating substantial technological advances. Moreover, Brigadier General Khamoshi reported the deployment of over 100 helicopters, many of which now possess night-time combat abilities, with components produced locally, signaling progress in self-sufficiency.
